Meet the Owner
My name is Angela and I am the founder of Green Dog. After playing Division 1 basketball at the University of Northern Iowa, I moved to Phoenix where I worked as a personal trainer before starting my own dance company that became one of the largest after-school programs in Arizona. Getting my shar pei Aria confirmed a love for animals so I moved back to the Midwest to be close to family and began Green Dog, LLC. Established in 2013. I now have 2 Russian tortoises for pets named Claude and Ripley and am learning to play horse polo in my free time.
Why Green Dog?
Eco-friendly. We care about the planet as much as we care about your pets. Our practices are environmentally conscious from the ground up.

Award-winning. Voted a Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite and recognized in Madison Magazine’s Best of Madison. Featured on Live It Up with Lee Acker on ABC and the Wisconsin Women TV program.
Insured & experienced. Over a decade of professional pet care with a team you can trust.
