Longer version

Green Dog, LLC is a local, independent dog walking and pet care company in Madison, Wisconsin. Angela started it in 2013 around the care she wanted for her own shar pei, Aria: the same friendly faces visit after visit, a routine pets can count on, and a note afterward so owners always know how the day went. Today the Green Dog team cares for dogs, cats and small pets across Madison, Middleton and Monona, with dog walks, dog park runs, cat sitting and small-pet visits. Green Dog won the Madison.com People's Choice Award in 2024, 2025 and 2026, was nominated for Best Pet Care Company in Best of Madison in 2025 and 2026, and is bonded and insured. Meet the owner

Angela, owner

Angela started Green Dog in 2013 with a shar pei named Aria. Before pet care she played Division 1 basketball at the University of Northern Iowa, worked as a personal trainer in Phoenix and built a dance company that grew into one of the largest after-school programs in Arizona. She moved back to the Midwest to be closer to family and built Green Dog around the kind of care she wanted for Aria.
